The movie was very well filmed. The movie made me realize how much that I take for granted on Earth with all the air, oxygen, and water I need. It was cool to see how the people with different backrounds put aside their differences to help the world get a better picture of their planet and when they put together the pieces of the space station together, piece by piece. It was like the space station was going into a greater dept of alliance between countries fitting together differences. This also had me question the the way we treat radiation waste and the pollution. Couldn't we just ship it into space or burn it in the sun? I thought it was cool how they recycled every drop of water and air. We on earth should do that so that we are not hurting the earth as severly and exponentially. I found it very peculiar that they had Russians standing near and around the shuttle moments before the flight. I understand that it is very heart-warming that way for the passengers but doesn't that raise security problems. Anyone from the crowd could had messed with the flight or got hit when it exploded. Also, I learned a bunch of new things such as, nitrogen in our blood causes pain in space but oxygen gets rid of it quickly. There are things called bends that divers and astronauts can get. I found these things very interesting. But what exactly is a bend and why does your body change and why do you have to stay fit during your space run? Does the 0gravity affect your muscles? All in all, I loved this movie!
